Resting Station - Norman
STORY: Norman needs a break, he has been working flat out trying to identify new fairy-dust hot spots in the hills of West Yorkshire. The cold weather is conspiring against him, he wishes that he had worn his thermals. At risk of wing freeze he seeks refuge on a designated ‘Resting Station’ The colour soon returns to his cheeks.
SPECIFICATION: Norman wears a bright blue leather flight-suit with tan and brown detailing. He has wonderful sleek, striped wings and sits on his swing style seat (stained oak). This sculpture can be easily suspended from a surface in your home. Lightweight in design, it can be attached with the tiniest of hooks (even into plaster walls). The ‘drop’ of the piece can be easily adjusted. It has a typed label that swings along with the piece in situ.
The piece has a tiny date and signature on the rear of the swing seat, you have to squint to see it.
