Resting Station (Gertie)
STORY: Gertie has a desire for sunshine and has decided to migrate. She has a new role in Dust Surveying which she is excited about. The journey is long and will need to be broken by many rest stops.
SPECIFICATION: Gertie wears a two tone toffee and yellow flight suit. She has an acorn cup helmet, brown flight goggles and yellow ear gear.
She rests on a swing style seat (stained oak). This sculpture can be easily suspended from a surface in your home. Lightweight in design, it can be attached with the tiniest of hooks (even into plaster walls). The ‘drop’ of the piece can be adjusted to fit all spaces. The swing has a typed label that sways along with the piece in situ.
There is a tiny date and signature on the rear of the swing seat, you have to squint to see it.
All sculptures arrive with a certificate of authenticity.
