STORY: A sudden surge in cramp-related accidents has shaken the fairy community –the situation has continued to escalate. The good news is that the campaign to educate fairies about the perils of flight cramps has been relaunched. While concerns are still high, we're optimistic that this initiative will help reduce serious injuries from these incidents.
SPECIFICATION: Felix’s dynamic stretch draws inspiration from the playground classic ‘Leapfrog’. Memories of playing this as a child were the catalyst for this entire collection of sculptures. Meticulous efforts were invested to capture a compelling sense of motion. Leg position, tummy crinkles and the forward lean help to create that sense of movement whilst the a vibrant red on the turned wooden base further elevates the playful spirit of this sculpture.
The sculpture is attached to the wall with a single screw. It is signed and dated on the rear of the base. All ‘Preflight stretching fairies’ come with a large postcard featuring a sketchbook page from the design concept as well as a certificate of authenticity.
