2016 saw the launch of the ‘Fairy Appreciation Foundation’

Fairies have been my life now for 19 years, they are part of my core. They have taken me on many adventures over the years and I feel incredibly lucky to still be in love with the ideas that fill my brain. Alongside making fairies, I have always drawn as part of my design process to explore fairy characters and invent new contraptions.

In 2016 I began to develop these drawings into prints as a new way of visualising the fairies and their escapades. To celebrate this new two-dimensional adventure, I created the FAF Club, the Fairy Appreciation Foundation! A limited membership club, which only 100 fairy enthusiasts were able to join.

Those who became members of the FAF Club received three exclusive limited-edition screen prints released incrementally through the year. In addition members also received; a membership card & certificate, entry into a members-only prize draw to win a fairy sculpture and 10% discount on one sculpture purchased from the fairy workshop during their annual subscription. Annual membership was £100 plus postage.

The FAF club was brilliant and so well supported. It had to cease whilst I was on maternity leave. I hope to relaunch towards the end of this year all being well with a few changes. I will announce the winner of the 2018 membership prize draw later this year also. I haven’t forgotten!! Watch this space…
