Introducing ...Brain's Red Can ‘Copter

STORY: A heavy duty dust identification and retrieval vehicle for fairies.

Developed in 2014 by the DFWB (Department for Fairy Well Being) as part of their life improvement strategy for over worked fairies. This is just one of the many labour saving devices that have been developed in response to the ongoing battle against fairy fatigue.

Duty dictates that all fairies must retrieve and distribute fairy-dust. Much of fairy life revolves around this laborious and lengthy task. The average fairy spends approximately 85% of their time searching for, collecting and sprinkling dust. Leaving little to no time for leisure activities

SPECIFICATION: This fairy vehicle was originally built for my ‘Dust’ showcase at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. It formed part of an installation of suspended sculptures made for the visitor centre window. It was built around a beautiful vintage tin can, purchased in Sheffield’s antique quarter.
