The Scarlet Spears


The Scarlet Spears are a highly skilled aerial aerobatics team. They were formed in 2010 by the AFA (Advanced Flyers Association) to promote advanced flight training to fairies.

Their dedication to perfecting in-air skills has produced a team that demonstrates the very  finest fairy flying seen to date.

These suspended sculptures were produced as an installation for the Visitor Centre window at Yorkshire Sculpture Park 2010.
