Introducing... Ready… Steady… Go…!

STORY:  Marples is jumping into flight. The inspiration for this sculpture came from my then ever energetic 20 month old boy. “Weddeee deddeee Gooooowa” was his favourite phrase as he frequently daredevil dashed into danger.

His wall base is part of a reclaimed jointing plane. It has a Sheffield stamp and the word ‘Marples’ hence his name.
